Ingredients

  • ½ lb boneless fried chicken

  • ⅓ cup Sunbay Schezwan Sauce

  • 1½ tbsp oil

  • 1 tsp ginger, chopped

  • 1 tsp garlic, chopped

  • 1–2 green chillies, chopped

  • ¼ cup onion, cubed

  • ¼ cup red & green bell peppers, cubed

  • ⅓ cup water

  • 1 tbsp cornflour slurry (1:1 cornflour : water)

  • 1 tbsp spring onion, chopped

  • Salt or seasoning to taste

Method of Preparation

Step 1: Sauté the Aromatics

Heat oil in a wok or pan over medium-high heat. Add the chopped ginger, garlic, and green chilli, and sauté until fragrant.

Step 2: Stir-Fry the Vegetables

Add the cubed onion and bell peppers. Stir-fry for 1–2 minutes, keeping the vegetables slightly crisp for added texture.

Step 3: Add the Schezwan Sauce

Pour in the Sunbay Schezwan Sauce and stir well until it coats the vegetables evenly.

Step 4: Toss in the Chicken

Add the fried chicken pieces and toss until they are thoroughly coated with the spicy sauce.

Step 5: Simmer & Thicken

Pour in the water and bring the mixture to a gentle simmer. Gradually add the cornflour slurry while stirring continuously until the sauce reaches a glossy, coating consistency.

Step 6: Finish & Serve

Adjust the seasoning to taste, garnish with chopped spring onions, and serve immediately.
