Ingredients

  • 1 cup Sunbay Kadhai Gravy

  • ⅓–½ lb paneer cubes

  • 2 tbsp capsicum, cubed

  • 2 tbsp onion, cubed

  • 2 tsp oil

  • 1 tbsp butter

  • 1½ tbsp cream

  • Salt to taste

  • 2–3 tbsp water (if required for consistency)

Method of Preparation

Step 1: Sauté the Vegetables

Heat oil in a kadai or deep pan over medium flame. Add cubed onions and sauté until translucent.

Step 2: Add Capsicum

Add cubed capsicum and stir-fry briefly while keeping it slightly crunchy for texture and freshness.

Step 3: Prepare the Gravy

Add the Sunbay Kadhai Gravy and mix well. Add a little water if required to achieve the desired consistency.

Step 4: Add Paneer

Bring the gravy to a gentle boil, then add paneer cubes. Simmer for about 2 minutes so the paneer absorbs the flavors without becoming rubbery.

Step 5: Finish with Butter & Cream

Add butter and cream, mixing gently until the gravy becomes rich and glossy. Avoid boiling after adding cream.

Step 6: Serve Hot

Adjust seasoning if needed and serve immediately.

Chef’s Tips

  • Lightly pan-fry the paneer before adding for extra texture and flavor.

  • Keep the capsicum slightly crunchy for authentic kadai-style texture.
